17 YEARS VOL. 1

Hiroki and Takashi, two high school students, are saved from a bullying assault by the notorious thug Miyamoto and end up joining his gang. After the initial excitement, the two find themselves involved in increasingly serious crimes and begin to understand what it really means to show obedience and loyalty to their brutal savior. That is, until the gang kidnaps Sachiko, a young student their age, who becomes the subject of the most horrific torture at the hands of Miyamoto... Will Sachiko be able to return home? What kind of people—or monsters—will Hiroki and Takashi become? A story that is a real punch in the gut, inspired by a harrowing true crime that shocked Japan in the late eighties.
