BOCCHAN IN THE DAYS OF PERFECT EDITION VOL.5 - REGULAR

After being a supporting character and keen observer in the previous volumes of the series, Natsume Sôseki returns as the protagonist in this fifth and final volume. Authors Taniguchi and Sekikawa examine the final years of the Meiji period, and with them, one of the most crucial phases in the Japanese writer's life: the period in which Sôseki took refuge at the Kikuya inn in the hot spring resort of Shuzenji, from August 6 to October 11, 1910. It would be a long convalescence following a serious hospitalization, amid problems related to his stomach and his nervous disorder.
