ANAMORPHOSIS

SHINTARO KAGO ALSO PROVES HIMSELF A MASTER OF SUSPENSE HERE, KEEPING THE READER HOOKED UNTIL THE UNEXPECTED, DISCONCERTING CONCLUSION
Anamorphosis is a secret game intended for carefully selected contestants. To win and become wealthy, one must survive for 48 hours inside a building that houses a scale model of a Tokyo neighborhood. It seems that the ghost of a guest who died during a live broadcast still roams the building, which was once the site of television studios. Furthermore, the fewer survivors there are, the larger the shares of the prize money to be split. Who, then, represents the real danger? The alleged ghost or the opponents? Renowned for his grotesque eroticism laced with dark humor and refined graphic experimentation, Shintaro Kago also proves himself a master of suspense here, keeping the reader hooked until the unexpected, disconcerting conclusion.
