Avengers Deluxe BDS Art Scale Statue 1/10 Thor 44 cm Iron Studios

Official product: Iron Studios Product type: Statue Product weight: 1400 gr. In a unique place, beyond space and time, the fearless God of Thunder summons the power of lightning with his mystical hammer, leaping onto the jagged rocks of a temple built to pay homage to Death itself, against the threat of the mad titan named Thanos, who boasts the power of a demigod with his Infinity Gauntlet. With his red cape moving like great wings and showing on his face the fury of a warrior in the interchangeable extra head with his battle helmet, which partially covers his face and exposes his long hair and beard, the Viking warrior god joins forces with other powerful heroes to save the universe. Iron Studios presents the "Thor Deluxe - Infinity Gauntlet Diorama - BDS Art Scale 1/10" statue, the second release and the first hero revealed in the new Infinity Gauntlet series, a collection composed of statues of the most powerful superheroes of the Earth from the Marvel Universe, forming a battle diorama set. Iron Studios will also bring the regular "Thor - Infinity Gauntlet Diorama - BDS Art Scale 1/10" statue, featuring Thor without the extra head with his battle helmet, atop a lower base. Working as an architect in New York, Eric Masterson became friends with construction worker Sigurd Jarlson, the secret identity of Thor. After an accident in which he was injured by a falling beam, Eric was taken to the hospital by Sigurd, who revealed himself to Eric as the God of Thunder, further strengthening their friendship. After many adventures together, Eric was mortally wounded, but not before he had lifted Mjölnir, proving himself worthy. Odin then merged them both, keeping their separate personalities intact. Both would swap bodies using Mjölnir, just as Thor had done years earlier with Donald Blake. After Loki killed Susan Austin, a close friend of Eric, Thor was furious and supposedly killed Loki during a fight. Having broken Odin's sacred law, Thor was exiled from Earth and Eric Masterson gained the power of the God of Thunder to continue his role as Thor. Eric continued as a defender of Earth after receiving Mjölnir. Masterson then joined the Avengers in Thor's place and revealed his dual identity to Captain America. He helped the Avengers in battles such as the Kree/Shi'ar war and the Infinity Gauntlet crisis in The Infinity Gauntlet. After Loki reappeared, Eric managed to find Thor and saved him from exile. Proving himself a hero on his own merits, Odin rewarded him with the enchanted mace Thunderstrike. Adopting Thunderstrike as an alias, Eric continued to serve as a hero on Earth. Published by Marvel Comics in 1991, written by Jim Starlin and illustrated by George Pérez and Ron Lim, The Infinity Gauntlet brings a series of stories that form a saga in which the supervillain Thanos is able to collect the six Infinity Gems and attach them to his Gauntlet. Seeking the affection of Lady Death, he uses his powers to decimate half of the life in the entire universe, and only the union of the best remaining superheroes on Earth can defeat him and undo all the evil. A huge sales success upon its first edition, with two sequels, the events of that story continue to be cited and adapted to this day in games, animations, and were the main inspiration for films like Avengers: Infinity War. Revealed on Thursday, November 30th, on the Ultra Stage panel at CCXP 2023 and subsequently exhibited at the Iron Studios booth with global pre-orders already available, check out "Thanos Deluxe - Infinity Gauntlet Diorama - BDS Art Scale 1/10", the first statue revealed from this line at SDCC 2023, and soon you will discover many other legendary characters from Marvel Comics in the new Iron Studios statues in this collection.
