CHILDREN OF THE WHALES 14

The world has been completely covered by an endless sea of sand. Most of the people living on the Mud Whale, a giant ship drifting at sea, possess the ability to use thymia, an extraordinary power fueled by emotions. The downside of this power is that it comes with a curse of an extremely short life... Lykos and Ouni have been captured by Orca's troops. To protect the rest of his people, Suou declares he wants to abandon the two and head toward the new promised land. Chakuro's objections are in vain; the village leader is immovable in his decision... Meanwhile, however, Orca rebels against the Empire and declares the independence of his own warship!
