DEATH NOTE 9 - SEVENTH REPRINT

To recover the Notebook stolen by Mello, Kira hands over his own at headquarters, which in exchange assists in a forceful operation against the criminal gang. Ryuk participates in the plan and convinces Sidoh not to warn Mello and his accomplices, with the promise that his Notebook will be returned to him in return. For the operation to succeed, Soichiro Yagami makes the eye trade and thus discovers Mello's real name. He communicates it to Light, without, however, writing it in the notebook, hoping to convince Mello to surrender. Light's father is instead mortally wounded in a shootout, and Mello escapes after blowing up his hideout.
