The Dark Forces Are Growing More Powerful!
Long before humanity presumptuously defined itself as the dominant life form on Earth, many others existed. Over time, each of these powerful civilizations fell to ruin, perhaps due to the elements, predators, or their own boundless ambition. These stories are known to only a few. Knowledge of these species has been hidden from humanity, and yet, within these forgotten stories lies the only hope for the survival of the human race. To protect this world from the looming threat of the Ancient One, a small group of investigators must delve into these forsaken legends.
The Forsaken Lore expansion includes a new Ancient One, as well as new Mystery cards for the Ancient Ones from the base game, hundreds of new stories to experience during encounters, and new Artifacts, Assets, and Spells that investigators can use against the Ancient Ones.
List of game components: 1 Rulebook, 1 Ancient One sheet, 148 Encounter cards, 14 Mystery cards, 6 Mythos cards, 8 Artifact cards, 16 Asset cards, 24 Condition cards, 28 Spell cards, 8 Monster tokens, 6 Health and Sanity tokens
