Homunculus 14 - Second Reprint

After a gray and demoralizing youth, Susumu Nakoshi decides to change his life: he leaves the small town where he was born and raised, moves to Tokyo, and undergoes plastic surgery. His good looks bring him the success and attention he had always sought. After experiencing that materially rich but sentimentally barren life, an emotional trauma causes the house of lies he had built to collapse, forcing him to live as a homeless person in search of his true identity. In this challenge, he is aided by grotesque visions, the homunculi, projections of the psyches of the people with whom he shares something.
