EMPEROR OF JAPAN VOL. 4

With the third and fourth volumes (24 titles are planned for the series), Hirohito enters adulthood and the troubles of politics begin... For patriotic reasons or pure self-interest, some want to keep the young heir to the throne away from major state decisions. Princess Nagako has been unofficially designated as the prince's fiancée, but while everyone rejoices at the happy event, Aritomo Yamagata, a senior political advisor, ignores the decision and with extreme arrogance works to break off the engagement... A true publishing phenomenon in Japan, the Shōwa Tennō Monogatari series has established Junichi Nojyo as one of the greatest living mangaka.
