INITIAL D VOL.14

Takumi Fujiwara, a listless and sleepy-looking high school student, spends a lot of time behind the wheel. Every morning, he delivers tofu for his father’s shop, maneuvering his Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 up the treacherous roads of Mount Akina. Day after day, without even realizing it, Takumi has absorbed racing techniques that most drivers take a lifetime to learn, yet he has no particular interest in the world of cars. However, his friendship with classmate Itsuki Takeuchi draws him into a passion for illegal street racing, and Takumi finally seems to awaken from the torpor of a gasoline-free life. A mysterious and phenomenal new driver thus bursts onto the local street racing scene: the legend of the "Ghost of Akina" begins, and the racing world will never be the same!
