INTO THE DARK

THE WORLD IS COVERED IN GLOOM.... It is more than mere darkness. It is a miasma that hates the light, devours flames, and distorts the living. Somewhere within this starving darkness lies a Night Well, and near it a Shadow: not a mere living being turned into a beast, but a creature born of the Gloom itself. Your lands are threatened, and someone must carry the Silver Flame to the Night Well to seal it. If you are lucky, perhaps, you will return laden with treasures dating back to before the Gloom appeared. If you are careful, perhaps, you will survive your expedition into the darkness.

Into the Dark is a game about Seekers who venture into alien, gloom-shrouded territories to protect their homes and hope to recover precious materials and news of the world that existed before the Gloom.

This game focuses on obstacles to be overcome with cunning, life-or-death situations, and the exploration of dangerous and abnormal environments. It combines classic fantasy dungeon-crawling themes with a post-apocalyptic, horror-tinged world.

Includes:
Four unique Seeker types. Inside you will find the well-armed Gloomhunter, the quick-witted Scout, the Gloom-touched Shadowbinder, and the Light-bearer in tune with the Silver Flame. Each is equipped with specific powers, gear, and advancement rules tailored to their respective roles.
