LETTERS FROM WHITECHAPEL

London, 1888. A maze of crowded, foul-smelling alleys. Some call this district Hell; others, less fortunate, simply home. Prostitutes stand on every street corner. The Unfortunates, they call them, and never was a term more appropriate - especially lately. Welcome to the district of Whitechapel. Welcome to the streets of Jack the Ripper. Five prominent Scotland Yard detectives are on the trail of the most dangerous serial killer of all time: Jack the Ripper! One player is Jack, the others are the detectives playing together. Jack secretly chooses his hideout: that is where he will return every night after the crime. Both Jack and the detectives have fake clues at their disposal (in Jack's case fake victims, in the detectives' case fake patrols) to throw off the investigation. In the intricate web of streets and alleys, the hunt for a mysterious killer begins. Letters from Whitechapel is a sophisticated game of deduction and bluffing set in 1888 London, the “hunting ground” of Jack the Ripper, for 2-6 players aged 13 and up.
