The isekai genre, which literally means "another world," is not exclusive to Japan, and works like The Neverending Story, Ready Player One, or even the Divine Comedy all stem from this narrative vein.
LOGIN takes works linked to the world of MMORPGs, or Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplay Games, such as the aforementioned Sword Art Online or Overlord, and utilizes some of their tropes to place players before training sessions, epic battles against invaders, and difficult decisions that could even go against the interests of the group or the LoginWorld itself, the game world you will find yourselves exploring.
LOGIN is designed for medium-term campaigns, from 10 to 20 sessions, depending on how long you generally play, and provides for shared narrative authorities for world-building (authorities that have a motivation within the game, linked to the characters' pasts).
One of the most unique things about LOGIN is that you will find yourselves stepping into the shoes of two different characters: the Player Character, meaning the person who is outside the game world, devoid of memories and yet forced to remain in the LoginWorld, and the Avatar, meaning the person they will embody in the LoginWorld, which will be their body, their eyes, and which will have its own memories.
