X-MEN '97 WOLVERINE 1/10 STATUE Showing his claws coated in indestructible Adamantium metal, the invincible and relentless Canadian mutant hero grits his teeth and prepares for battle, tensing his small but powerful body, carrying the same metallic alloy that covers his skeleton, as he says, he is the best at what he does, even if what he does is not always very pleasant. Iron Studios presents the "Wolverine - X-Men '97 - Art Scale 1/10" statue, featuring painting innovation in the form of a specific shading that highlights all the figures in this new collection as if the characters were jumping off the TV and into the real world. Iron Studios presents the statues from their new X-Men '97 line, on a themed base in the shape of the mutant superhero group's "X" logo. Kidnapped in the past, the mutant whose only known name is Logan had his mind wiped by an unknown organization. With no memory of his past, his bones were later coated with the indestructible Adamantium metal. Logan was trained to be lethal, Weapon X. After escaping from the place where he was held prisoner, he was protected by Heather Hudson and her husband James, members of Alpha Flight, a government-sanctioned group considered the Canadian equivalent of the Avengers. After helping him deal with his lost past, he joined Alpha Flight as Wolverine. Feeling that the Canadians were using him as a weapon, he accepted Professor Charles Xavier's offer to leave and join the X-Men, a group of mutant peace soldiers fighting for mutant rights. Wolverine has remarkably enhanced senses and an accelerated healing factor, as well as an Adamantium-implanted skeleton and claws. For this reason, Wolverine appears to be younger than he actually is. His actual age is unknown, but what is known is that he fought in World War II and appears to be the same age now as he was then. This also makes him immune to diseases, drugs, and other toxins. Released in March 2024, X-Men '97 is a new animated series that is a sequel to the 1992 show "X-Men: The Animated Series," picking up the storyline where the original series left off. Following the loss of their leader Professor X, Storm and Wolverine seek to keep the X-Men going. Magneto arrives wishing to replace Charles Xavier and Mr. Sinister returns to try to end the X-Men once and for all. Produced by Marvel Studios Animation for the Disney+ streaming service, the show's animation has been updated from the original series to use more sophisticated and modern technology, featuring modernized designs. The theme song is similar to that of the original show, but has been credited to Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, music producers of X-Men: The Animated Series. X-Men '97 will be the first project entirely produced by Marvel Studios that is not part of the MCU. The series is also the first X-Men project from Marvel Studios since they regained the film and television rights for the characters, and Eric Lewald described the show as an extension of the original series created by the Marvel Studios team.
