In Namiji, you are fishermen from ancient Japan, sailing south of the Japanese archipelago, just a few kilometers from the famous Tokaido road. Will you be able to have a fruitful day at sea and win the game? You will have the opportunity to contemplate magnificent marine species, fish with a rod or net to fill your baskets with colorful fish, and lure succulent crustaceans into your traps. It is possible to stop and improve your fishing equipment, without forgetting to make offerings to the gods to satisfy their desires. Namiji features gameplay similar to that of Tokaido. Action spaces are arranged along the path where players will move turn by turn. Just like in Tokaido, the player furthest behind starts and must choose whether to advance slowly to gain more turns or travel more quickly to beat the other players to the desired action spaces.
