The Dwarven kingdom is threatened by the dragon Fafnir! Take on the role of a venerable Elvarand, a recruiter chosen by the King himself, and head to the taverns of the kingdom to hire the most skilled dwarves and the most prestigious heroes, in order to create the best battalion and defeat your mortal enemy once and for all.
Nidavellir is a hidden bidding game where you must make your best offer to secure the services of the dwarves in the tavern. Whoever bids the most, chooses first! Each dwarf has a class (blacksmith, hunter, warrior, explorer, and miner) and provides victory points in a different way. Meticulous recruitment will also allow you to recruit powerful Heroes into your army.
Nidavellir also utilizes an innovative "coin building" system, which allows you to "add up" the coins you don't use for bids to obtain stronger ones.
If you like hidden bidding games and creating card combinations, but you want a light, good-looking game that appeals to both newcomers and experienced players.
● Age: 10+
● Players: 2 to 5
● Duration: 30'-45'
