The pharaoh’s children spent a good part of their lives preparing for the journey to the afterlife. In this game that blends resource management and worker placement into a single mechanic, they must obtain the support of nobles and artisans to build a magnificent burial chamber and thus present their offerings to the demanding gods. Each of their actions will be judged by the final weighing of their heart.
The spectacular action wheel, positioned in the center of the board and surrounded by 5 areas representing the 5 possible actions, indicates each turn which resources allow access to each sector, which therefore changes throughout the course of the game. Players must plan their actions carefully, anticipating which resources will grant access to each area. But they can also end their round early, thereby obtaining progressive bonuses as the other players continue to play.
A game with very high replayability, thanks to the variable resources that make every game different from the others. Illustrated by the talented Christine Alcouffe (Shy Monsters, Yokai, Paper Tales), this game will appeal as much to expert players, who can also challenge themselves with a variable-difficulty solo mode, as it will to more casual players thanks to its simple and straightforward rules... and above all to fans of ancient Egypt.
