PICTURES THAT TICK - SHORT STORIES VOLUME 1 - REGULAR

Following the incredible Raptor: A Sòkol Story, the latest masterpiece created by Dave McKean that launched his collaboration with Comicon Edizioni, it is time to take a step back and discover some of the most beautiful unpublished tales by this English genius of Art. Pictures That Tick is a collection of McKean’s revolutionary short stories created between the 90s and the early 2000s. A true iconoclast, McKean blends illustration, painting, photography, sculpture, and digital art for a comic book experience unlike any other. Some tales are poignant, others absurd, but all are magnificent and surprising, and will tickle your imagination. Each one is completely unique and original, but gathered together, they represent a true work of art. Pictures That Tick presents us with the art of Dave McKean in all its facets and expands the boundaries of comics, thanks to the short story format that allows him, in a way, to present us with his artistic vision in an even broader and more immersive way. With this second volume, Comicon Edizioni is proud to continue the publication of a series of volumes, both unpublished and otherwise, by the British master, now among the great authors in its catalog.
