In-store pickup availableFabrice Luchini, Volpi Cup winner at the last Venice Film Festival, plays Xavier Racine, a President of the Assize Court known as a "double-digit judge" because, with him, sentences are always over ten years. Everything changes the day Racine meets Birgit. She is on the jury that will have to judge a man accused of murder. Six years ago, Racine loved this woman. Almost in secret. Perhaps the only woman he has ever loved.
