SUSPENDED TRUTHS THRILLER - DVD

Writer Stephen Elliott, who has been in a creative slump for some time, becomes fascinated by the high-profile trial of the moment, in which the defendant, a quiet family man, is accused of the brutal murder of his wife, who has been missing for several weeks. This case also brings the writer back to the days of his troubled adolescence and his stormy relationship with his father, who he believes abandoned him after his mother's death to start a new family. The only certainty in Stephen's life seems to be the presence of his new girlfriend Lana, a complex character herself who is also recovering from difficult experiences. But just when everything seems to be going for the best, Stephen's father, Neil, reappears after years, forcing him to come to terms with his past.
