Shackleton Base

A permanent base is under construction in the Shackleton crater. You are the head of one of the space agencies collaborating to expand their presence at the base, while three major corporations sponsor the mission through specific projects and requests for their own purposes. At the start of a game, three of the seven available corporations are randomly selected. Each corporation introduces new projects and adds its own unique mechanics to the game, which affect both scoring and available actions. Each of the 3 rounds in a game is divided into 3 phases. During the Shuttle phase, each player chooses a Shuttle tile from those available, which determines the type of astronauts they can use for that round and the turn order. The Action phase is the heart of the game, during which players take turns deploying their astronauts on the moon to collect resources, build structures, or fund projects. During the Maintenance phase, the astronauts employed during the Action phase are sent to work on the player boards, and players collect income and pay Maintenance costs. At the end of the game, final Victory Points are counted to determine the winner. Contents 1 game board 12 player boards 116 wooden pieces 77 cards 436 tokens and tiles 11 boxes 7 Corporation sheets
